THIMONNIER opens its doors for you
FOR THE FIRST TIME, SINCE 150 YEARS, THIMONNIER OPENS ITS DOORS.
THIS HISTORIC EVENT WILL ALLOW TO CELEBRATE 50 YEARS OF THE CREATION OF THE STAND UP POUCH: THE DOYPACK ® BY LOUIS DOYEN, FORMER PRESIDENT OF THIMONNIER.
IT WILL BE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO UNDERSTAND HOW, SINCE THE INVENTION OF THE 1st SEWING MACHINE IN 1830, THAT THIMONNIER, A FAMILY COMPANY, BECAME ONE OF THE FLAGSHIPS, WORLD LEADER, IN THE CONCEPTION AND THE MANUFACTURING OF MACHINES OF FLEXIBLE PACKAGINGS.
The festivities will begin at 3 pm with the inauguration of a big work: " a concentration of talents " with the meaning to leave a track of this anniversary. Each can so keep in memory that THIMONNIER accompanies millions of people in everydays’ life (foodstuffs packed in pillow bags or in DOYPACK ®, eco-refill of cosmetics or household products in refill pouches or in DOYPACK ®, solutions of medical infusion bags, sealing of nursery items, automobile or leather goods)
A guided tour of the site will be proposed, including the presentation of the manufacturing workshop as well as a discovery of the private collection of sewing machines.
